  1. Pgadmin 3 Install
  2. Install Pgadmin 4

PgAdmin 4 is a PostgreSQL data base management program. Indeed, it is one of the applications developed by Jean-Michel Pour. It helps users in writing SQL queries and in other tasks. PgAdmin is available for 64 bit Windows™ 7 SP1 (desktop) or 2008R2 (server) and above, up to v4.30. V5.0 and later are supported on Windows 8 (desktop) or 2012 (server) and above. 32 bit Windows support is available for versions up to v4.29. The packages below include both the Desktop Runtime and Web Application. PostgreSQL 9.4.4 on x8664-unknown-linux-gnu, compiled by gcc (Ubuntu 4.8.2-19ubuntu1) 4.8.2, 64-bit.

This blog post describes installing Postgresql 9.4 and pgAdmin III 1.20.0 using the installer provided by EnterpriseDB. Background (Or lessons learnt) I recently installed a copy of Postgresql on U.

Hello,

I'm trying to build pgadmin 1.20 from sources on Debian Jessie. I
already have 1.20.0~beta2-1 0 installed through apt-get, but it's pretty
buggy, which is why I'm looking into moving forward to the latest, or
back to 1.18.

Anyway, I followed the script from INSTALL file. This is where I'm stuck:

1.20

Pgadmin 3 Install

# make
./pgadmin/ui/embed-xrc
Rebuilding xrcdialogs.cpp...
wxrc: error while loading shared libraries: libwx_baseu_xml-2.8.so.0:
cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
diff: ./pgadmin/ui/xrcDialogs.cpp.new: No such file or directory
mv: cannot stat ‘./pgadmin/ui/xrcDialogs.cpp.new’: No such file or directory
Makefile:1024: recipe for target 'xrc' failed
make: *** [xrc] Error 1

1.20

I tried reconfiguring to wxwidgets 3.0 version from apt-get (./configure
--with-wx-version=3.0 --with-wx=/usr). The same message.
I tried deleting everything and starting from scratch, both using
pgadmin 1.20 tarbal and the latest from master.
I tried reinstalling wxwidgets 2.8, both manually and using the
installer in xtra/wx-build/build-wxgtk.

The error message remains the same. My best guesses are, either
something has remained cached somewhere, or I messed up my wxwidgets
install.

Any ideas where I should start looking?

Thanks,
Ivan

Install Pgadmin 4

Are you using the 32-bit version of pgAdmin or the 64-bit?
If you have the 32-bit version of pgAdmin, you need the 32-bit version of
Visual C++ 2013 redistributable which would be located in
C:windowsSysWow64MSVCP120.dll
Hope that helps,
Regina

Subject: [pgadmin-support] PgAdmin III 1.20 error on Windows 7 (64 bits)
Hi all,
I am facing an error launching PgAdmin III 1.20 on my Windows 7 (64 bits)
computer.
I have installed PgAdmin without problem.
But when I try to launch it, I get the following error (approximative
translation because the original message is in french) :
'pgadmin3.exe - System error
Impossible to launch the program becaus MSVCP120.dll is missing on your
computer. Try to reinstall the program to correct the problem'.
The problem seems to be related to Microsovt Visual C++ 2013
Redistributable, but it is installed on my computer and MSVCP120.dll is
correctly installed in C:WindowsSystem32.
How can I solve this issue ?
Thanks in advance.
Cedric
